The rarest major line in palmistry is the simian line. It occurs when the heart line and the head line fuse into a single line across the palm.
Most people have two separate lines: the heart line at the top and the head line beneath it. A simian line means these two lines are merged into one.
The simian line is found in about 1% to 3% of the population. It is traditionally read as a sign of intensity, focus, and single mindedness.
