Vedic palmistry usually refers to Indian palm-reading traditions associated with samudrika shastra and sometimes jyotisha, or Vedic astrology. The hand is read through major lines, minor lines, mounts, finger shapes, thumb structure, markings, and texture.
The mounts are often linked with planetary symbolism: Jupiter, Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Moon. This does not mean planets are physically writing on your hand like bureaucrats with tiny pens. It means the system uses planetary names as symbolic categories.
Compared with modern Western palmistry, Vedic palmistry often feels more integrated with astrology, karma language, and traditional body-sign interpretation.
